It may be noted that the child/student Prague card can be availed only by children aged between 6 and 16 years as well as by students who are studying full-time, up to the age of 26 years. It is important for students to have a valid student ID in order to use a student Prague card.
Kids under the age of 6 years have free access to the public transport network. They also have free entry to most of the attractions in the city.

Tourists may be asked to sign their Prague Card just after buying them. Officials often ask tourists to sign it so that it cannot be used by others if lost by you. It may however be noted that it is not necessary to sign the card and date it just after buying it; you may do so only on the first day that you begin using it.
It is also important to remember that the card becomes valid only when it has the name of the holder and the starting date of usage. If the starting date is not present on the card, then the card cannot be used as it is invalid. In instances of use of undated Prague card, there is a risk of penalty being imposed by transport authorities as well as denial of entry to the varied free attractions.
