A Buddy ticket is different from a Ski With A Friend ticket in that the former is discounted and the prices remain the same all season long, but the latter or SWAF is a discounted ticket that has window ticket prices and it fluctuates throughout the season.  Ski With A Friend tickets are usually bought at the ticket window.  If you hold Season Pass, you need to have the person whom you want to buy the ticket with you at the window of the agent.  The agent will let you know how many tickets for friends are available and what their price is at that particular day.  That’s the reason why the prices for the Ski With A Friend vary throughout the skiing season.  You can have one friend and purchase the SWAF ticket for six days or you can have 6 friends and purchase the ticket for only one day.

Pass Insurance:  When you plan to visit Park City for a skiing experience, you hope that everything will go on as you had planned.  However, sometimes, things can go haywire and you don’t travel to the city or even if you travel, you don’t use your Pass as required because of an incident like an accident that leaves you injured.  It is important that you insure your Pass by purchasing insurance.

If you get sick or are injured and you cannot ski or use your ski Pass, or if you are terminated from workplace and cannot proceed with your trip to Park City, then you can get reimbursed in case you don’t use your Pass.  You should understand the clauses of the insurance policy so that you know what kind of situations are reimbursable or what is covered by the insurance.  If you don’t purchase the Pass insurance, you cannot be refunded or reimbursed in the event of a loss.  The amount that you are paid is usually pro-rated based on the season term and the time in which you make the claim.

In addition to the above perks that come with the Park City Epic Pass, you also earn yourself points with the PEAKS Rewards free membership.  Guests visiting Park City resorts like Park City Mountain resort, Heavenly and Keystone can take part in this program.  Whenever you make purchases at the Park City resorts, you get free lift ticket and ski school lessons.  You can earn point when you make purchases or spend by purchasing lift ticket, going for ski school, dining, lodging, and other activities and events.
